CMS Industries Ltd - Information Update - Issue 11:

Following the success of the 2007 show CMS are pleased to announce that we will be exhibiting for a second time at this years Interzum, in Cologne.

We will be showcasing our latest product developments and our abilities with in house CAD work. We are inviting our customers to join us at the exhibition and offering free day passes. New 60mm castor available in silver with black PU tread and various collar sizes. This castor design will compliment any task chair or desking range as it also comes in a braked version.

CMS can now offer anti-slip glides. The base is a non marking TPU pad mounted into the nylon. Perfect for specialist installations where castors are not the preferred option on hard or wooden floor.

Our new all nylon adjustable arm was project lead by the CMS CAD team and tooling was completed earlier this year. We are excited about the potential of this angled arm due to its environmental and cost advantages, alongside its aesthetics.
We feel sure this can attack the overcrowded and stale flat steel trigger adjustable arm market. The arm comes in all nylon or with a TPU inlay for soft touch on the top surface. This inlay can be manufactured in various colours.

This will be available from stock at the end of May.
 

With costs being at the forefront of everyone’s minds in these tough times CMS can offer excellent prices on plastic back sets. These sets are suited to Budget mechs or can be used in conjunction with Donati mechs to take them to the next level of quality. Pictured are medium, high and task sizes with a standard back outer. CMS Launch New Website

To coincide with us showing at Interzum CMS are pleased to announce the launch of our new website. Please visit our site @ www.cmsindustries.com. On the site you will find details of our latest product developments and regularly updated news feeds. Future plans are to upload our products and we will keep you updated with our progress.

Please note the website is not going live until after the Interzum Exhibition.

As from the 1st of April 2009 our wooden products supplier was awarded Chain of Custody.

CMS are now looking into our Chain of Custody, however, to assist us with our certificate we need to have historical records of us requesting, receiving and storing FSC certified products, until we have certification we are not able by law to state on our documents (invoices, delivery notes etc) that the product is FSC although we believe our suppliers intentions is to stamp all FSC products (although this is not a mandatory requirement but one carried out by choice).

The products that the factory supplies to us can be of 2 different FSC labels—FSC 100% and FSC mixed sources.

FSC 100% - products carrying a 100% FSC label come only from well managed forests that have met high FSC social and environmental standards.

FSC mixed sources—products with a mixed source label support the development of responsible forest management worldwide. The wood comes from FSC certified well managed forests recycled material and/or controlled wood which comes from non-controversial sources.
