Welcome

to the 12th edition of the CMS newsletter and the first of our new format. Our website launched in June has proved to be a valuable tool allowing clients to have a clear view of the CMS range. This comes at a time when customer service is paramount in a competitive market. Business is a battle at the moment but with a strong infrastructure in place and continuing improvements CMS are focused and hungry to remain the preferred option on special projects and standard components. We constantly update our product range with new offerings as well as investing in future parts with our cost effective partners in Asia.

Company News

It’s A Knock Out

Back on the August Bank Holiday several members of CMS and their family put together a team to participate in It’s A Knockout Challenge to raise money for Helen & Douglas House. Two hospices that provide respite and end of life care for children and young adults with life- shortening conditions as well as providing a source of support for their family. The event was organised by TFD gym based on Grove Technology Park. Out of 10 teams the Liquorish Allsorts were very pleased to come third with only 3 points in it between us and the winners and we didn't even cheat! The whole event managed to raise £6,500 for the charity.
The team all agree it was a very enjoyable day with some classic moments and we would like to thank those who took part for all of their effort.

Amber Has A Baby Girl

Our IT and Marketing Manager Amber gave birth to Daisy Marcella Game on Thursday 6th August weighing in at a healthy 8 pound 2 ounces. Mother and daughter are doing extremely well and I am sure you will join us all in passing on our congratulations to the Game family and in wishing them all the best for their future.

10 Years Service

Kevin Eaton and Alex Lynch are celebrating their 10 years service this year. They were both presented with watches to show our appreciation for the commitment they have given the company over the years.

We would also like to wish Kevin a belated Happy 50th Birthday for May. Kevin celebrated his milestone birthday with his family and a round of golf on the PGA National Course at the Belfry which was a present from his colleagues.

New Member of Staff

Karl Merchant recently joined us as the newest addition to our warehouse team, he brings with him previous warehouse operative experience. I am sure you will join us in wishing him every success and a bright future at CMS.
